COVID-19: How the First Care Team is Responding

CINCINNATI, Ohio (April 15, 2020)—First Care today announced the expansion of its remote monitoring services to include patients who tested positive for COVID-19 at no charge.  First Care's telehealth screening and monitoring application provided by HealthCall is completely web-based and includes secure video capabilities to enable remote monitoring of patients in the safety of their own homes.  First Care will send an encrypted link to the patient via email and text which patients can click on to securely connect via video with trained professionals at First Care and proceed with an assessment of their symptoms.  Additionally, the system enables First Care to provide ongoing automated monitoring of patient symptoms to ensure their well-being. Should a patients symptoms worsen, First Care can provide medical transportation services to take the patient back to the hospital for treatment.
